Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Julz The Jackal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Jackal comes to the cage accompanied by http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UVHSmgj6tWg. Jones has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Julz The Jackal has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Julz The Jackal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jon Jones!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Steve Erwin and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Jackal closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - The Jackal lands in his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The Jackal looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Jones looking to hit a scissor sweep but The Jackal is one step ahead there.
The Jackal is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Julz The Jackal wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Jones tries to clinch
and The Jackal counters with a crisp one two that drops Jones! The Jackal thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Jones to his feet! Jones is in big trouble!
Jones is rocked!
Jones looks winded!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The Jackal digs a good hook to Jones's body.
Jones is still on wobbly legs! Can The Jackal finish him?
Jones gets tackled into the cage by The Jackal. The Jackal maintains the clinch.
The Jackal has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Jones is trying to keep an underhook but The Jackal manages to get the takedown into half guard.
The Jackal maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Jones could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but The Jackal has cracked it and Jones is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by The Jackal!

In his post fight interview, Julz The Jackal started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
