Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Jane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sativa Sensei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Sensei's choice of entrance music: Stevie Ray - Pride and Joy. Patrick Jane has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sensei tries to clinch but Jane is having none of it.
Jane throws a low kick but it's checked well by Sensei.
Jane wants to clinch up but Sensei keeps it at a distance.
Sensei throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sensei drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Sensei sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Jane scores with a sloppy right hand. Sensei should have avoided that one.
Sensei thuds his right hand into Jane's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Jane tries to close the distance and clinch but Sensei swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Jane has momentary wrist control but Sensei slips an elbow through the middle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's time! Jane's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Sensei in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Jane lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sensei has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sensei and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Patrick Jane.
I think Sensei has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
