The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortiz dodges the punch combination from Fresh.
Ortiz wants to clinch.
Fresh looks to clinch
and Ortiz counters with a good low kick that Fresh was not able to check.
Ortiz throws a leg kick which misses Fresh's front leg but catches the back leg as Fresh tries to avoid it.

It looks like Vlad Fresh has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ortiz throws a nice looking combination but Fresh bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ortiz closes the distance and clinches.
Fresh misses with the head strike.
Fresh misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Ortiz.
Ortiz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Fresh clobbers Ortiz with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Fresh cracks Ortiz with an open hand slap.
Fresh works the jab nicely.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ortiz ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Ortiz fails in his attempt to clinch.
Ortiz lands with a kick to the temple. Fresh shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Fresh moves to clinch but Ortiz breaks away
and Ortiz moves into the clinch.

Fresh has taken the fight to the clinch.

The referee calls for Ortiz to work.

Ortiz lands a big head kick that sends Fresh tumbling to the mat! Ortiz takes a step backwards and waves Fresh back to his feet - he wants the finish!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Ortiz counters with a flying knee that drops Fresh! Ortiz dives in and finishes the fight with a flurry of strikes from the mount!
