Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Sawyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and serenity ahr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). ahr has chosen porch as his entrance music. serenity ahr has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Sawyer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, serenity ahr!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sawyer is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
ahr looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
ahr tries to clinch up

and Sawyer counters by moving into the clinch.

Sawyer drags the fight down to the ground.
Sawyer wants to get back to his feet but ahr is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Sawyer manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Sawyer controlling the position easily from mount.

Sawyer moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, ahr has worked his arm free - good work by ahr!

Sawyer cracks ahr with a big elbow.
ahr takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Sawyer working the body and head with strikes.

Sawyer decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Sawyer wants to clinch up but ahr keeps it at a distance.

Sawyer closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Sawyer decides to stand up, so the ref orders ahr to his feet.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sawyer.
Sawyer misses with a jab, cross combination.
Sawyer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around ahr's waist but ahr gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sawyer off to one side.

Sawyer gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

ahr stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sawyer swivels though and keeps the full guard.

ahr wants to stand but Sawyer has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
ahr wants to pass the guard but Sawyer is keeping the position.

Sawyer has momentary wrist control but ahr slips an elbow through the middle.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
ahr preventing the sweep.
ahr must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Sawyer drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
ahr is not content to let Sawyer control the position.

Sawyer stands up.
Sawyer gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

so ahr counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

ahr is still in real trouble! Can Sawyer finish him?

Sawyer has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

ahr is looking to get to half guard.
ahr seems to have recovered his senses.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Mike Sawyer overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
ahr keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Sawyer wants to control but ahr has made it back to half guard. Nice work.
ahr is trying to get back to full guard.

ahr tries to roll over but Sawyer keeps him under control.
ahr has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sawyer is working away from the top position though.
Sawyer is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
ahr is wriggling around trying to escape.

Sawyer is landing with some decent strikes but ahr is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Sawyer tries for a takedown but ahr circles away easily

and ahr moves into the clinch.
ahr looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Sawyer lands a body shot in the clinch.

Sawyer drags the fight down to the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sawyer looking for a guillotine here but ahr defends easily.
Sawyer has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Sawyer throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

ahr takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Sawyer scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Sawyer tries to clinch up.
ahr swats away the attempt to clinch by Sawyer.

Sawyer darts in and clinches ahr up against the cage.

Sawyer is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. ahr can't fight it off and eventually Sawyer manages to take the fight to the floor. ahr looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

ahr is working an open guard so Sawyer takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Sawyer shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Sawyer stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

ahr shoots in and bounces Sawyer off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sawyer manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. ahr manages to get himself to full guard.
Sawyer wants to control from the top but ahr keeps moving.

Sawyer is really struggling to control ahr but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Sawyer stands up over ahr, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Sawyer is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

serenity ahr has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
ahr tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Mike Sawyer showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Sawyer has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
