The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keller slaps away a takedown attempt from Perado, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Keller bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Perado's head.
Keller stuffs the takedown.
Perado shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Keller can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Perado controls the pace.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Perado accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Perado misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Keller bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Perado's head backwards.
Keller fails in his attempt to clinch.
Keller tries to close the distance and clinch up but Perado swats him away and circles back towards the center.

A nice combination there by Keller.
Keller lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Des Perado seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sam Keller is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Perado dives in and grabs Keller's left leg, looking for a takedown. Keller pushes down on Perado's head and hops out.
Keller lands a head shot.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Perado tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Keller swivels and escapes.

Perado shoots in and drives through. Keller sprawls well.
Jab, jab by Keller - just one landing.
Keller throws a combination. Perado tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Perado is rocked!
Keller steps in with a hook that catches Perado right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Keller follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Perado looks absolutely devastated.
