Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
21 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Kenshi Zuko!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

24 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Matt Spartan!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zuko keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Spartan swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Matt Spartan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Spartan just misses with a punch to the body.
Zuko doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Spartan tries to work over Zuko's front leg with a kick but Zuko checks it.
A punch lands to the side of Zuko 's head but he takes it in his stride.
It looks like Kenshi Zuko has been cut.
Spartan misses with a wild combination.
Spartan looks to land a left hand but Zuko moved out of range nicely.
Spartan on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Zuko. Zuko obviously looking to wear him down.
Spartan scores with a jab. Zuko acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A telegraphed right hand from Spartan misses the target.
Spartan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Spartan wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
A nice inside leg kick there by Spartan. That's going to slow Zuko down.
Spartan misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Zuko.
Sloppy strikes from Spartan. Those never looked like landing.
Zuko finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Spartan jabs at Zuko's body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Spartan connects with a right hand. Zuko shakes it off.
Zuko turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Spartan connects with a looping right hand.
Zuko throws a leg kick but Spartan sees it coming and moves out of range.
Spartan connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Zuko! He's out on his feet! Spartan rushes in and drops Zuko with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Matt Spartan!

Matt Spartan decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
