The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henn pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Henn fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Denn looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Henn tries to clinch but Denn moves out of range.
Denn looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Henn is fending him off so far but Denn persists. Nope, Henn circles away and we're back to standing.
Henn misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Denn tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Henn paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Henn gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Denn.

Henn jumps into guard, dragging Denn to the mat.

Denn drops back looking for a leg! Henn is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Henn manages to kick Denn off! Denn jumps back into Henn's guard.

Denn avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Henn is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Denn tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for DJ Denn. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Henn tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Henn has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Denn wants to control but Henn postures up.

Denn manages to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Henn is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Denn has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Henn is looking to defend but Denn has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Henn! Denn pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Henn taps out and this one is all over!
