PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Wesley Bomlech (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fakhri El Hashem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). El Hashem has chosen Kassaman as his entrance music. Wesley Bomlech had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.8lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Fakhri El Hashem has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! El Hashem lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Bomlech looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! El Hashem throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Bomlech crashing down! Bomlech tries to stagger back to his feet but El Hashem just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Bomlech asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
