Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hamfist looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Hamfist swinging wildly here.
Hamfist is looking to clinch. Groove tries for a takedown but Hamfist circles away easily and Hamfist counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Hamfist. Hamfist prevents Groove from getting back to his feet. Hamfist works over Groove with some ground and pound from guard. Hamfist wanted to stand there but Groove had control of the position. Hamfist pushes down on Groove's leg and manages to get into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hamfist looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hamfist seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Groove wants to control but Hamfist is keeping busy.
Groove misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Groove is trying to stand.
Hamfist missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Hamfist throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Hamfist working Groove over with strikes. Hamfist trying to pass the guard but Groove defending well. Hamfist looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Groove is doing well to control the position and prevent Hamfist from advancing to side control. Hamfist seems to be looking for submissions.
Hamfist trying to advance position but Groove counters by regaining guard. Groove keeping moving, preventing Hamfist from controlling successfully. Hamfist stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Groove swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hamfist has gone for a leg lock! Groove slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hamfist's guard. Hamfist trying to keep a closed guard but Groove is proving a slippery customer.
Hamfist is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Groove pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hamfist is keeping the position for now. Groove is working hard here to advance position. Groove has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Groove postures up.
Mookie Hamfist has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Groove dives in and grabs Hamfist's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hamfist pushes down on Groove's head and hops out. Groove gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Hamfist counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robert Groove. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Groove keeping moving, preventing Hamfist from controlling successfully. Hamfist stays in close to Groove's body and controls the position. Groove wants to stand and escape but Hamfist is having none of it. Hamfist is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hamfist passes into half guard. Hamfist is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Groove pushes Hamfist off looking to stand but Hamfist dives back in and keeps control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mookie Hamfist dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Hamfist lands a glancing blow to the side of Groove's head.
It looks like Robert Groove has been cut. Groove has his takedown stuffed and Hamfist counters with a series of strikes that sends Groove to the canvas! Hamfist follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!
Groove is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hamfist loads up on a big left hand. Groove felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Hamfist looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Groove can't hide his disappointment, as Hamfist celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mookie Hamfist! Mookie Hamfist decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
