Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Pegas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raoul Duke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duke is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Pillz. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jon Pegas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Raoul Duke! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pegas throws a right and a left that both miss. Pegas looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Duke lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. A head kick from Pegas lands but Duke takes it in his stride. Pegas throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Pegas fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Duke is out of range. Pegas throws a head kick that misses. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Pegas, right into the meat.

and Duke counters with a solid body kick. Duke checks a leg kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pegas buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Pegas fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. A slapping body kick lands there for Pegas. Pegas clinches up against the ropes. Duke goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Duke lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Pegas or not. Duke tries to work over Pegas's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Pegas misses with an elbow over the top.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duke throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Pegas wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Duke has him pressed against the ropes. Duke is looking to control Pegas's arms but Pegas gets an underhook and turns him. Now Duke has his back to the ropes. Pegas breaks the clinch.
Pegas darts in and clinches Duke up against the ropes. Pegas is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Duke is keeping busy. Pegas tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Pegas pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Pegas tries to close the distance and clinch up but Duke swats him away and circles back towards the center. Pegas scores with a shot to the body.
Duke misses with a body kick. Pegas misses with a straight left. A clash of legs there as Pegas blocks the low kick. Pegas dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Duke bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pegas misses the shot to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Duke just misses with a punch to the body.
Duke misses with a body kick. Pegas scores with a push kick. Duke looks winded! Duke keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
A head kick misses from Duke. Duke walks into a stiff left hand from Pegas. Duke checks a low kick from Pegas. Pegas throws out a leg kick but Duke moves out of range and Pegas only half commits. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Duke. Pegas looks to throw the jab but Duke is out of range. Decent striking displayed by Pegas there. An inside leg kick from Duke misses. Pegas connects with a nice looking jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pegas thows a body shot but no joy. Jab, jab by Pegas - just one landing. Pegas throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Pegas blocks a leg kick. Pegas pivots, looking for a leg kick but Duke is out of range and Pegas settles back down. Pegas throws a leg kick which misses Duke's front leg but catches the back leg as Duke tries to avoid it. Pegas instigates a clinch. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Pegas takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Pegas doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
The fighters are pressed against the ropes, as the pace of the fight slows. Duke misses with a hook to the ribs.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Pegas stalling in the clinch.
Duke takes an elbow to the temple. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Duke has a couple of punches blocked by Pegas.
Pegas lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. A short right hand to the side of the head by Pegas. A right hook to the body lands for Pegas.
Pegas blocks an elbow strike. Duke blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Duke blocks an elbow strike. Duke goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Pegas's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Duke throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Duke throws a body punch but Pegas moves out of range. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A big right from Pegas misses. Pegas takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Duke tries to keep at a distance but Pegas has taken the fight into the clinch. Pegas lands a nice elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jon Pegas dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Duke takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Pegas here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. A nice inside leg kick there by Pegas. That's going to slow Duke down. Pegas pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Pegas lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Pegas misses with a kick to the body.
Duke throws a head kick that misses. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Pegas. Duke takes a kick to the side of the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pegas scores with a jab. Jon Pegas is winning the standup battle so far. Pegas throws a hook but Duke avoids it easily. Duke misses with a hook. Pegas throws a head kick that misses. Duke throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Duke in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Pegas moves out of range as Duke throws a body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duke is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Pegas moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jon Pegas!
