Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Bowman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hayao Miyazaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hayao Miyazaki told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miyazaki misses with a hook.
Bowman tries to close the distance and clinch but Miyazaki swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Miyazaki looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Bowman tries to clinch up
and Miyazaki counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bowman has closed the distance and engaged Miyazaki in a clinch.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Bowman manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Miyazaki is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Bowman has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Miyazaki is looking to defend but Bowman has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Miyazaki! Bowman pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Miyazaki taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Nathan Bowman!
Nathan Bowman gave a mention to Cyclone Nutrition Company in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
