Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ron Mexico (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abaka Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mexico's entrance music is I want war. A fine choice. Abaka Khan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Ron Mexico! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Abaka Khan! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mexico circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mexico comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Khan looks to land a combination but Mexico avoids it well. Mexico looks to score with a jab to the body but Khan is just out of range. Mexico avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Mexico throws a shot from downtown. Khan moves away and avoids it. A head kick misses from Khan. Khan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Khan is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Khan moves forwards but Mexico connects with a nice, crisp jab. Khan takes a body punch but keeps moving. Mexico misses with a wild body shot. Mexico cracks Khan with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
That's one minute gone in the round. Khan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Mexico manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Khan tries to close the distance and clinch but Mexico swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Nice straight punches there by Mexico. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Mexico. Mexico looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Khan! Khan tries to improve position but can't. Khan is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Mexico's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Mexico working over Khan with some ground and pound. Khan looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Khan is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Khan has hold of Mexico's hands but Mexico slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mexico is looking to take a break and control but Khan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Khan wants to control but Mexico is keeping busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Khan is refusing to be controlled, as Mexico sits in half guard. Khan wants to control but Mexico is keeping busy and won't allow it. Mexico missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Khan tries to roll over but Mexico keeps him under control. Khan holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Mexico is pressing down on Khan's thigh, looking to free his foot. Khan is holding on for now. Khan wants to get back to full guard. Khan looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Mexico working Khan over with strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Khan tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Mexico manages to move to mount!
A nice elbow there by Mexico. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mexico looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Mexico has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Mexico lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Mexico lands a big elbow. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Mexico landing punches. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mexico with shots to the head and body - Khan looks very uncomfortable down there.
Khan is rocked! Mexico lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Khan is still in real trouble! Can Mexico finish him? Mexico postures up and throws a big right hand. BOOM! Right on the button! Khan is out cold - huge knockout for Mexico!
