5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alan Corke! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brad Bandridge! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Bruno Hogan and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Corke just misses with a punch to the body.
Bandridge throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Corke counters with a lovely straight right hand! Bandridge scores with a nice head shot.
It looks like Alan Corke has been cut. Bandridge throws a lazy uppercut
and Corke counters with a left to the body. Bandridge fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Bandridge throws a good cross that connects.
Bandridge shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Bandridge was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Corke tries to improve position but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Corke manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Corke is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Bandridge is tapping! Great win for Corke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Alan Corke! After winning the bout, Alan Corke thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
