The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wallace drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pujols sneaks back into half guard. Pujols is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Pujols might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Wallace wants to free his trapped foot but Pujols is holding on for dear life with his legs. Pujols regains full guard. Nicely done. Wallace is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Pujols has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Wallace is looking to defend but Pujols has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Wallace! Pujols pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Wallace taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Ignacio Pujols!
