These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fed clobbers Shawayahamish with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Fed connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Shawayahamish fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Shawayahamish looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fed is fending him off so far but Shawayahamish persists. Nope, Fed circles away and we're back to standing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Shawayahamish shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fed but Fed pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mason Shawayahamish. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fed walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Shawayahamish drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Fed swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Shawayahamish's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roman Fed! Roman Fed retains his heavyweight title!
After winning the bout, Roman Fed thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
