Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sami Saarela (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kauko Antero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kauko Antero is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sami Saarela!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kauko Antero!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Richard Clark and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saarela misses with a jab, cross combination.
Saarela misses with a body shot.
Saarela throws a body punch but Antero moves out of range.
Antero tries for a takedown but Saarela sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Antero lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Saarela circles away quickly and effectively.
A jab from Antero finds it's way through Saarela's defenses.
Antero should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Antero wants to clinch.
Kauko Antero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A big left from Saarela misses.
Antero is looking to score with low kicks.
Saarela defending well as Antero loads up on a big left hand.
Saarela looks to land a combination but Antero avoids it well.
Antero shoots in looking for a takedown but Saarela manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Antero's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Antero shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Saarela eats them both and turns towards Antero to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Saarela dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Antero closes this distance looking for a takedown but Saarela circles away.
Sami Saarela has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kauko Antero.
Saarela tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Antero was well out of range. Poor timing from Saarela.
Antero slips under a jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Antero rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Saarela moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Saarela just misses with a punch to the body.
Saarela jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Antero tries to clinch up but Saarela circles away and keeps his distance.
Saarela pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Antero feints a jab promting Saarela to slip. Antero then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Saarela slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
A big left from Saarela misses.
Nice sprawl there from Saarela as Antero shoots in.
Saarela ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Antero moves away.
Antero connects with a single shot there.
Antero fails with an attempt to clinch.
Antero moves away from the strike by Saarela.
A combination from Saarela does no damage.
A punch combination from Saarela misses.
Antero throws a nice looking combination but Saarela bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Antero tried to score with a low kick but Saarela checks it.
Antero tries to land a front kick but Saarela steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Antero wants to clinch.
Saarela scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
A head kick misses from Saarela.
Saarela changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Antero looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Antero is trying to buck Saarela off.

Antero is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Saarela lands a nice forearm strike.
Antero takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Saarela has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Check out the look on Saarela's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Saarela advances to full mount.
Saarela tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Saarela will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Saarela lands a big shot there that rocks Antero but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Antero is rocked!

Antero is still in real trouble! Can Saarela finish him?
Saarela is landing with some decent strikes but Antero is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Antero takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Saarela's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
