Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jehoshaphat Ben Asa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jehoshaphat Ben Asa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fedor Emelianenko! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ben Asa walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Emelianenko pushes Ben Asa up against the cage in a clinch. Emelianenko is trying to break the clinch but Ben Asa has him pressed against the cage. Emelianenko is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Ben Asa to keep the fight standing. Emelianenko successfully pulls guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Ben Asa passes Emelianenko's left leg - he's now in half guard. Ben Asa is trying to work for a kimura but Emelianenko is defending well.
Ben Asa is working for a submission of some sort.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ben Asa is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ben Asa tries to pass to full mount but Emelianenko defends it. Ben Asa prevents Emelianenko from improving his position. Emelianenko is positioning himself well to prevent Ben Asa advancing to mount. Ben Asa wants to lay and pray for a moment but Emelianenko keeps working. Ben Asa prevents Emelianenko from improving his position. Ben Asa is keen to just control but Emelianenko is a slippery customer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ben Asa is working for a submission of some sort.
Emelianenko really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ben Asa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Emelianenko wants to get back to full guard. Emelianenko wants to control but Ben Asa is keeping busy and won't allow it. Ben Asa is trying to control. Emelianenko wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Emelianenko shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ben Asa pinned against the cage. Ben Asa gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Emelianenko keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Emelianenko defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ben Asa. Ben Asa swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ben Asa dives in and grabs Emelianenko's left leg, looking for a takedown. Emelianenko pushes down on Ben Asa's head and hops out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Emelianenko bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Emelianenko thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Emelianenko looks winded! Ben Asa manages to get back to half guard. Ben Asa works his way to full guard. Good work. Ben Asa looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Ben Asa keeping moving, preventing Emelianenko from controlling successfully. Ben Asa is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Emelianenko defends well. This has been an exciting period of action! Emelianenko sitting in guard here, content to control. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ben Asa is on top in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ben Asa is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ben Asa works over Emelianenko with some ground and pound from guard. Ben Asa passes easily into side control. Nice work. Ben Asa is trying to get an arm triangle but Emelianenko is defending well. Emelianenko struggling a bit here. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ben Asa lands some shots froms side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jehoshaphat Ben Asa dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Emelianenko tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Emelianenko shoots and misses and Ben Asa counters with a nice double leg into side control. Emelianenko won't be happy with that. Ben Asa advances to mount. Ben Asa in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Ben Asa moves to back control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Emelianenko prevents Ben Asa from getting a body triangle. Ben Asa working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Emelianenko is doing well to defend. Ben Asa seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Emelianenko is forced to tap and this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jehoshaphat Ben Asa! Jehoshaphat Ben Asa thanked the fans post fight for their support.
