The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McClaine looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Chupacabra is fending him off so far but McClaine persists. Nope, Chupacabra circles away and we're back to standing.
Nice sprawl there from Chupacabra as McClaine shoots in.
McClaine shoots in but no luck this time.

Chupacabra is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

McClaine drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and McClaine jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Chupacabra throws a left that rocks McClaine and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Chupacabra dives into side control, looking to finish! Can McClaine regain composure!
Oh McClaine is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

McClaine is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

McClaine feints and as Chupacabra raises his hands in defense, McClaine changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Chupacabra wants to stand and escape but McClaine is having none of it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

McClaine changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Chupacabra tries to avoid it but McClaine manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Chupacabra to the ground. Chupacabra escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

McClaine shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Chupacabra misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

McClaine is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Chupacabra is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

McClaine shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than McClaine was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

McClaine shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Chupacabra's guard.
McClaine passes easily into side control. Nice work.
