Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Hector Lombard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lancelot Liquid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lombard comes to the ring accompanied by cant be touched. Liquid is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Cemetery Polka. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Damien Edna and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liquid rushes Lombard and presses him up against the ropes.
Liquid's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Lombard avoids a punch combination nicely.
Liquid has closed the distance and engaged Lombard in a clinch.
Liquid softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes.
Lombard looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Liquid breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sloppy strikes from Liquid. Those never looked like landing.
Liquid does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

and Lombard counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Liquid throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A looping hook to the body misses from Liquid. Lombard does a little dance to reset his feet.
Liquid throws a series of punches but Lombard avoids them all with ease.

Lombard ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Liquid tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Liquid throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Liquid takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Liquid throws a right and a left that both miss.
Liquid wants to clinch.
Lancelot Liquid seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Liquid swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
letting Lombard counter with a right hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Lombard uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Liquid.

and Lombard counters with a big right hand that sends Liquid crashing to the mat! He's very wobbly - can he beat the count?! 5,6,7,8... he's up! No, he's down again! 9,10! He's done! The referee calls an end to the bout - Lombard takes it!

A very excited looking Hector Lombard rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
