The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brody closes the distance and pushes Sarmiento back into the cage.
Brody wants a takedown but no success here.
Sarmiento stops a takedown attempt from Brody.
Brody breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Sarmiento pulls Brody in close to his closed guard and prevents Brody from doing any damage or advancing position.
Brody really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sarmiento. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
