Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Connor Tsosie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikko Paderes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Connor Tsosie is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Connor Tsosie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mikko Paderes! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paderes tries to clinch up. Tsosie throws a right and a left that Paderes avoids nicely. Paderes gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Tsosie counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Paderes fails with the takedown and Tsosie counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Paderes tries to close the distance and clinch but Tsosie swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Paderes fails with a takedown attempt. Connor Tsosie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mikko Paderes. Paderes drives through with a takedown into guard. Tsosie has control of Paderes's left arm, preventing Paderes from doing any damage. Paderes looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tsosie controlling Paderes's posture. Tsosie will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Tsosie is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Tsosie lands with a punch from half guard. Paderes blocking the ground and pound attempt from Tsosie. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Paderes can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tsosie tries to pass to full mount but Paderes defends it. Tsosie is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Tsosie is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Paderes defends it well. Tsosie thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Paderes's head. Tsosie not landing any meaningful shots this time. Tsosie sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Paderes defending well though. Tsosie working over Paderes with some ground and pound. Paderes looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tsosie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Paderes keeps working. Tsosie really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Tsosie thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Paderes's head. Paderes is refusing to be controlled, as Tsosie sits in half guard. Tsosie works his foot free and advances to mount. Tsosie throws some wild stikes that Paderes manages to avoid easily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Tsosie is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Paderes can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Tsosie has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Paderes is forced to tap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Connor Tsosie! Connor Tsosie decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
