Sakaki comes into a darkened arena with his song building. monster skillet kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kolton Cannon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yurei Sakaki! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sakaki misses with a head kick.
Yurei Sakaki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sakaki misses with a head kick.
Sakaki throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Kolton Cannon has been cut. Cannon showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Sakaki.
Cannon shoots in looking for a takedown but Sakaki manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cannon's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Sakaki tries to keep at a distance but Cannon has taken the fight into the clinch. This has been an exciting period of action! Sakaki tries to land knees in the clinch but Cannon avoids the damage to the body. Sakaki throws a knee to the head but misses.

Cannon has Sakaki pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Cannon pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Sakaki tumbling to the mat - Cannon dives into Sakaki's guard. Cannon won't allow Sakaki to get back to his feet. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cannon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Cannon is stalling in the full guard. Cannon stands and steps away. Sakaki gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Cannon is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sakaki lands a big head kick that sends Cannon tumbling to the mat! Sakaki takes a step backwards and waves Cannon back to his feet - he wants the finish! Cannon is rocked! Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Sakaki moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Cannon! Sakaki continues to tee off on Cannon, landing with a left and a right! Sakaki connects with a right hand that leaves Cannon sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Sakaki!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Yurei Sakaki! Yurei Sakaki decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
