PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Arvo Penaali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mag Ne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Penaali comes to the cage accompanied by Immortal Technique - Obnoxius. Ne has chosen Blå and Black - Nephew as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penaali throws a jab but it's blocked by Ne.
Penaali tries to clinch but Ne moves out of range.

Penaali looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

It looks like Arvo Penaali has been cut.

Jeez, Arvo Penaali's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ne, as that shot connected.
Ne throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Oh Penaali is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ne scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Mag Ne showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fighters circling - Ne throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Penaali stalks Ne and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ne's face. Ne staggers backwards, shaken.
A clash of legs there as Penaali blocks the low kick.

Ne feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Penaali sprawling to the canvas! Penaali rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Ne finish him?!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
