Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jose Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silver Back (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanchez comes to the cage accompanied by PELIMUSA. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 10 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jose Sanchez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Silver Back! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanchez closes the distance and pushes Back back into the cage. A head punch blocked on the inside by Sanchez. Sanchez gets through Back's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Back misses with a hook from the clinch. Sanchez's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Sanchez manages to pull guard.
Sanchez is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Back pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sanchez is keeping the position for now. Back is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Back slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Sanchez is pulling down on Back's head to control his posture.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanchez working a defensive guard but Back manages to pass into side control anyway.
Back wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sanchez, who protects the arm well. Back is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Sanchez is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Sanchez is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Back off and has taken his back! Back is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Sanchez will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Sanchez is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Back. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. Back covering up well under a barage of strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Back takes a big shot to the side of the head.
Back manages to reverse the position and now he's in Sanchez's guard. Nice work there by Back.
Back drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sanchez looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sanchez looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sanchez! Sanchez landing strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Sanchez trying to control the position but Back is working away. Sanchez working the ground and pound but Back is defending the strikes. Back can't do much from the bottom here. Sanchez creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Back tries to get back to half guard but can't. Sanchez tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sanchez has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Back stops Sanchez from passing to mount. Sanchez throws an elbow but Back slips to the side and avoids it well. Sanchez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Back keeps working. Sanchez creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Back sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sanchez wants to control but Back is keeping him busy. Back manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sanchez trying to control here.
Sanchez tries to roll over but Back keeps him under control. Sanchez is staying active underneath Back, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Sanchez is trying to maintain the position but Back is very close to passing his half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Back landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Back trying to control from half guard but Sanchez is working away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jose Sanchez dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
A head kick misses from Sanchez. Back on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Sanchez. Sanchez obviously looking to wear him down.
Sanchez connects with a good right hand that stumbles Back. Back circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Sanchez misses with a head kick.
Back throws a push kick but Sanchez slaps the foot to one side. Sanchez swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Back drives through with a takedown into Sanchez's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Sanchez throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Back stopping the sweep attempt from Sanchez. Back stays in close to Sanchez's body and controls the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Back wants to control from the top but Sanchez keeps moving. Sanchez keeping full guard, as Back tries to pass. Back trying to control the position from guard on top but Sanchez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Silver Back hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Sanchez cracks a nice hook into Back's ribs. Back checks the leg kick. Back misses with a kick to the body.
Back shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sanchez pinned against the cage. Sanchez gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Sanchez takes the fight into the clinch. Knees to the body from Sanchez.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sanchez is struggling to control the position. Sanchez drags the fight down to the ground.
Back looking to sit in guard and control but Sanchez gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Sanchez scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Back wants to stand but Sanchez is controlling the position. This has been an exciting period of action! Back working a defensive guard here.
Back working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Sanchez has passed into half guard!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Back avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Sanchez. Back has hold of Sanchez's hands but Sanchez slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Sanchez with the ground and pound but Back uses the opportunity to regain guard. Sanchez postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Back keeping moving, preventing Sanchez from controlling successfully. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Back is on top in guard.
Sanchez not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Back tries to free his leg and advance position but Sanchez is retaining full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sanchez is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Back defends well. Sanchez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Back can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Sanchez wants to sweep but no luck. Sanchez looking to control.
Back looking to sit in guard and control but Sanchez gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Back working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Sanchez. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jose Sanchez dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Back swings for the body but Sanchez moves out of range.
Sanchez throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Sanchez lands with a kick to the temple. Back shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Sanchez throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Sanchez lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Back circles away quickly and effectively. Sanchez jabs Back to the body, keeping him at a distance. Sanchez takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Sanchez clinches. Back is trying to pull guard but Sanchez turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Sanchez tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Sanchez misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Sanchez misses with some punches.

Sanchez connects with a knee to the head.
Sanchez crunches a lovely knee into Back's ribcage. Back is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Sanchez is defending well for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanchez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Sanchez lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Back shoots in looking for a takedown but Sanchez manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Back's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Back keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Back has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Sanchez. Sanchez misses with a few strikes there.
Sanchez lands with a right hand. Sanchez delivers a nice body kick. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Sanchez.
Back shoots in for a double leg but Sanchez sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Jose Sanchez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Silver Back. Sanchez tries a head kick but it misses.
Sanchez with a jab. Sanchez lands a nice looking kick to the body. Back takes a step back to recover. Sanchez is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Sanchez throws out a leg kick but Back moves out of range and Sanchez only half commits.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sanchez lands with an uppercut that bounces Back off the cage and back into range. Sanchez ducks under a wild hook from Back. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sanchez jabs Back to the body, keeping him at a distance. Sanchez is looking to wear down Back with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Back avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sanchez swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Back tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sanchez was well out of range. Poor timing from Back. Sanchez scores with a body shot.
Back clinches with his opponent.
Back trying to stall but Sanchez improves his position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanchez prevents the takedown attempt.
Sanchez lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
A short left from Sanchez. The referee calls for Sanchez to work.
Back tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. A right handed body shot lands from Sanchez.
Sanchez stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Back. Sanchez misses with a knee to the head. Good body shot from Sanchez.
Silver Back has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Sanchez lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. A short left from Sanchez. Jose Sanchez is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Back stalling in the clinch but Sanchez improves position. Sanchez throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Back blocks it with crossed arms. Sanchez's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Back dives in and grabs Sanchez's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sanchez pushes down on Back's head and hops out. Sanchez throws a head kick but Back moves out of range.
Nice uppercut there from Sanchez. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Back slips a jab and a cross from Sanchez.
Sanchez defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Back. Back takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Back chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Sanchez can pounce on him.
Sanchez connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Sanchez lands with a slapping head kick. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Back takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Back takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Sanchez is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Back missing with a left hand there. Sanchez was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Back throws a right hand that misses
and Sanchez counters with a lovely straight right hand!
And that's the end of the fight! Jose Sanchez showed his dominance in that final round. Well Sanchez has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
