Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Colwyn Krull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Carmichael (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Colwyn Krull!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Charles Carmichael!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Steven Brown and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krull walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Carmichael checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Carmichael misses with a looping left.
Nice sprawl there from Carmichael as Krull shoots in.
Krull misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Carmichael tests Krull's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Krull fails to land with a series of punches.
Krull could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Krull stuffs the takedown attempt from Carmichael. Carmichael gets slowly back to his feet.
Krull shoots in and drives through. Carmichael sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Colwyn Krull. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Colwyn Krull seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Carmichael digs a good body shot into Krull's ribs.

Carmichael connects with a body shot that sends Krull's belly button to the back.
Krull throws a lazy right hand but Carmichael sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Krull tries to close the distance and clinch up but Carmichael swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Krull shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Carmichael defends it nicely.
Carmichael swats away the attempt to clinch by Krull.
Carmichael leaves Krull with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Krull takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Nice takedown defense from Krull. No joy for Carmichael on that attempt.
Krull closes the distance and clinches up with Carmichael, looking for a takedown. Krull pushes Carmichael against the cage but Carmichael circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Krull throws a jab when Carmichael was well out of range.
Krull closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Krull uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Carmichael.
Krull shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Carmichael defends it nicely.
The fight stays on the outside here - Krull looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Krull shoots in for a double leg but Carmichael sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Carmichael scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.


It looks like Colwyn Krull has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Carmichael connects with a body shot that sends Krull's belly button to the back.
Krull tries to clinch up

and Carmichael counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Carmichael.
Carmichael wants to break the clinch but can't.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Carmichael escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Krull fails with an attempt to clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Charles Carmichael dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Colwyn Krull's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Krull shoots in looking for a takedown but Carmichael manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Krull's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Colwyn Krull is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Carmichael shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Carmichael was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Krull manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Carmichael can do anything to dispel that myth.
Carmichael is trying to stand back up but Krull is controlling him
Krull takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Carmichael is looking to escape.
Krull controlling the action here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Krull drops an elbow to the side of Carmichael's head.
Carmichael is trying to stand back up but Krull is controlling him

Krull takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Well, if Krull is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Krull seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Carmichael for as long as he can get away with.

We're going to have a standup here because Colwyn Krull wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Carmichael thuds his right hand into Krull's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Krull tries to clinch up.
Carmichael lands a jab to Krull's midsection.
Carmichael scores with a crisp jab that stopped Krull in his tracks.
Carmichael jabs Krull right on the nose. Krull blinks but takes it well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Krull has closed the distance and engaged Carmichael in a clinch.

Krull pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nice takedown defense from Carmichael. No joy for Krull on that attempt.
Carmichael stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Carmichael wants it to stay on the feet.

Krull takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Krull tries to close the distance and clinch but Carmichael swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Carmichael bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Charles Carmichael seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Krull takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Carmichael defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Krull.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Krull gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Carmichael bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Krull's head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Krull tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Carmichael manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Krull tries to clinch but Carmichael is having none of it.
Carmichael fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Krull avoids it really well and circles away.
Krull fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Krull ducks right into an uppercut from Carmichael.
Carmichael scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Krull tries to clinch there but Carmichael circles away.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Krull. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
A big right from Carmichael misses.
Carmichael lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Good exchange - Carmichael coming out on top.


Colwyn Krull's cut is getting worse.
Krull walks into a straight right hand from Carmichael.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Charles Carmichael showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Carmichael misses with a takedown attempt - Krull sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Krull throws the kick towards the body but Carmichael avoids it.
Good standup being displayed there by Carmichael as he connects with a hook.
Carmichael lands a nice shot to the body.
Krull tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Krull moves in looking to clinch but Carmichael pushes him off.
Krull shoots in but no luck this time.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Carmichael throws a right and a left that Krull avoids nicely.
Carmichael connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Krull tries to clinch there but Carmichael circles away.

Krull closes this distance looking for a takedown but Carmichael circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Colwyn Krull. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Carmichael lands a nice hook to Krull's body. Krull takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Nice jab there from Carmichael.
Krull takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Krull takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Carmichael connects with a looping right hand.

Krull walks into a jab.
Left hook, right uppercut from Carmichael.
Carmichael ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Carmichael throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Krull on the side of the head.
Krull looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Carmichael shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Carmichael wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Carmichael lands a left and a right that send Krull crashing to the mat, dazed. Carmichael thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Krull is rocked!
and Carmichael counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Krull! He's just covering up as Carmichael starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Charles Carmichael!
