Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Voda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jax Teller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Voda comes to the cage accompanied by Lamb of God - Walk With Me In Hell. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jeremy Voda! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jax Teller! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Chris Edwards and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Voda closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Voda tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Voda with the ground and pound but Teller regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Teller is refusing to be controlled, as Voda sits in half guard. Voda content to control rather than advance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Voda seems to be looking for submissions.
Voda is trying to work for a kimura but Teller is defending well.
Teller is not content to let Voda control the position. Teller is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Voda's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Voda's back! Teller throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. Voda can't escape the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Even with his hooks in, Teller manages to miss with strikes from the back. Teller gets his hands free as Voda looks to control. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Teller's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Voda. Teller not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Teller is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Teller is on top in guard.
Voda is trying to keep Teller in close.
Teller wanted to stand there but Voda had control of the position.

Voda is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Teller frees his head nicely. Oh but Voda has switched to an armbar! Teller is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Armbar). Jeremy Voda! Jeremy Voda really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Ace of Spades Clothing logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
