The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Micheangelo Fripello and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Verhauden slaps away a takedown attempt from Berthold, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Verhauden's jab looks to have found its range, popping Berthold under the eye.
Berthold shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Verhauden sprawls well. Verhauden wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Berthold gets slowly back to his feet.
Verhauden doesn't manage to clinch there - Berthold circles away.
Verhauden tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Berthold swivels and escapes.
Verhauden throws a front kick that sends Berthold stumbling back into the cage.
