Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Renzo DeSilka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Storm Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). DeSilka comes to the cage accompanied by International Love by Pitbull. Jackson has chosen Eye of the Tiger as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Renzo DeSilka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Storm Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Micheangelo Fripello and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson swings away with a body shot that misses

and DeSilka counters with a shoot takedown. Jackson fights it but they end up in guard.
DeSilka is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jackson got a little sloppy there for a moment and DeSilka has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jackson has managed to get both his arms back between DeSilka's legs - danger averted.

DeSilka looks up at the clock and then as Jackson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, DeSilka smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

DeSilka lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Jackson!

DeSilka has control of Jackson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Jackson regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

DeSilka has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jackson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jackson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Jackson holds on and takes a little breather.

DeSilka sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jackson's guard.

I would just about give that final round to Storm Jackson.
