The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Cena.

Cena closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Cena postures up in Vallefort's guard and throws a big left but Vallefort blocks it.

Cena stands up from Vallefort's guard - Cena perhaps looking for a knockout.
Vallefort shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cena sprawls well. Cena wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Vallefort gets slowly back to his feet.

It looks like Justin Vallefort has been cut.
Cena misses with a low kick.
Cena is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Vallefort walks straight into a right hand from Cena - that's dropped him! Cena jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Vallefort from any more punishment! Vallefort complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
