Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jim Drogo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Quixote (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Don Quixote will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jim Drogo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Don Quixote! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, John Kavanagh and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drogo looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Quixote is pressing down on Drogo's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Drogo engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Quixote wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Drogo is now in half guard. Quixote looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Quixote tries to get to full guard but Drogo has control of the leg. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drogo performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Quixote is looking for a sweep. Drogo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Quixote is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Quixote regains full guard. Nicely done. Drogo has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Drogo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Quixote has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Drogo has managed to get both his arms back between Quixote's legs - danger averted.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Drogo advances position into side control! Quixote tries to get back to half guard but can't. You can see the frustration on Quixote's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Drogo controls the position. Drogo has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Quixote tries to clinch there but Drogo circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Drogo has closed the distance and engaged Quixote in a clinch.
Drogo prevents a body shot from Quixote. Quixote managing to block the knees to the body from Drogo.
Quixote misses with the head strike.
Quixote swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Drogo blocking some punches.
Quixote misses with a hook from the clinch. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Drogo goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Drogo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Drogo doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Quixote fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Don Quixote is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Drogo is defended easily by Quixote. Quixote moves into the clinch. A nice left hand lands by Quixote.

Drogo is breathing heavily. A short right from Quixote on the inside. A head punch blocked on the inside by Drogo. Drogo controlling the action here for a moment.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Drogo tightens his grip and picks Quixote up, before dumping him to the ground. Quixote manages to land in guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jim Drogo will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Good shot there by Quixote. Drogo swats away the attempt to clinch by Quixote. Drogo dodges the punch combination from Quixote.
Quixote gets caught napping as Drogo dives in and scores a takedown. Quixote manages to retain guard. Drogo controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Quixote is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quixote had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Drogo defends it easily. Quixote manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Drogo tries to lock up and control but Quixote gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Quixote wants to control the pace but Drogo is squirming around nicely. Drogo tries to hold on but Quixote postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Quixote is looking to stand but Quixote has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Quixote wants to control but instead Drogo manages to regain half guard. Quixote is trying to control. Drogo wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Drogo landing rabbit punches to the side of Quixote's head. Not doing much damage but still scoring a few points. Drogo trying to hold on to Quixote's head to control him but Quixote postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Quixote moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Quixote tries to clinch but Drogo moves out of range. Quixote swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Quixote bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Drogo looks for a takedown but Quixote sprawls well. Quixote jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Decent striking displayed by Quixote there. Quixote thuds his right hand into Drogo's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Drogo swats away the attempt to clinch by Quixote. Drogo moves in looking to clinch but Quixote pushes him off. Quixote dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Quixote uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Drogo is rocked! Jim Drogo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Quixote cracks Drogo with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Drogo falls to his knees and Quixote doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Don Quixote!
