Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Musashimaru Koyo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pertti Rauta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Koyo kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is "Tengoku Kara Kaminari" by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole . Rauta is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Frederik - Harva Meistä On Rautaa. Pertti Rauta is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

33 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pertti Rauta!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koyo throws a right and a left that both miss.
Rauta chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Koyo can pounce on him.
Koyo keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Rauta checks the leg kick nicely there.
Rauta swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Rauta fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Koyo has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Rauta is pressed up against the cage. Koyo has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rauta down to the mat. Rauta avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Koyo misses with a body shot
and Rauta counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Koyo lands a nice hook to Rauta's body. Rauta takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Koyo takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Koyo closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Rauta did well to prevent Koyo getting side control.

Koyo seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Koyo in particular looking to stall.
Koyo is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Rauta!

It looks like Pertti Rauta has been cut.
A big strike lands for Koyo! That's really hurt Rauta and he's turned his back - Koyo keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Koyo jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Musashimaru Koyo!
