The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ignatov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Salonen swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ignatov lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Ignatov takes the fight into the clinch.
Ignatov lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

Salonen tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Ignatov scores with a shoulder strike.
Salonen creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Salonen tries to land a knee to the head but Ignatov blocks with his arms.
The referee calls for Ignatov to work.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Ignatov lands an uppercut.
Ignatov gets through Salonen's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Salonen fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Salonen tries a knee to the head but Ignatov blocks it.
Ignatov works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Ignatov digs a right hand underneath Salonen's ribcage. Salonen let out a lung full of air as it connected.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Ignatov.
Salonen is breathing heavily.
Ignatov lands a right hand.
Salonen is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Ignatov is defending well.
Ignatov blocks the elbow strike.
Salonen throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Salonen stalling in the clinch but Ignatov improves position.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Salonen manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Ignatov lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Salonen is rocked!
Ignatov creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Salonen with a big uppercut! Salonen tries to clinch up but Ignatov pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Salonen to the mat! Salonen covers up and Ignatov unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
