Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bentley Downer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Malone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malone has chosen Where Everybody Knows Your Name as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Downer tries to clinch there but Malone circles away.

and Malone counters with a shoot takedown. Downer fights it but they end up in guard.
Malone is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Malone postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Downer is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Malone, into his guard.
Downer wanted to stand there but Malone had control of the position.
Malone is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Malone has his feet on Downer's thighs here. He's pushed Downer off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Downer screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
