Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rosco P Coltrane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Gorden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Coltrane's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Bleed. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rosco P Coltrane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeff Gorden!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gorden throws out a loose jab but Coltrane uses good head movement to avoid it.
Coltrane throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Coltrane looks to land a right hand but Gorden moved out of range.
Gorden misses with a takedown attempt - Coltrane sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Gorden changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Coltrane tries to avoid it but Gorden manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Coltrane to the ground. Coltrane escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Gorden misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Rosco P Coltrane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeff Gorden.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gorden.
Donk. Gorden catches Coltrane right on the button with a cross.
Gorden dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Coltrane misses with a hook. Gorden ducked under it nicely.
Coltrane stuffs the takedown.

Gorden avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Gorden throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rosco P Coltrane is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Coltrane tries to clinch but Gorden is having none of it.

Coltrane leaves Gorden with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Gorden decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Gorden is pressing down on Coltrane's thigh, looking to free his foot. Coltrane is holding on for now.
Gorden wants to take a breather but Coltrane is having none of it.

Coltrane is trying is best to control the position here.
Gorden is just content to waste time from the top position. Coltrane takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Gorden throwing strikes but missing.
Gorden is looking to advance position but Coltrane has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Coltrane controlling the position easily from mount.
Gorden wants to hold on but Coltrane pushes him away.
Gorden is looking to improve his position but Coltrane isn't that keen on the idea.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Coltrane wants to control the pace but Gorden is squirming around nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Rosco P Coltrane will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Gorden closes this distance looking for a takedown but Coltrane circles away.
Gorden shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Coltrane sprawls well. Coltrane wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gorden gets slowly back to his feet.
Coltrane misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gorden lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Coltrane at a distance.

Gorden uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Coltrane.

Gorden shoots for a double leg takedown but Coltrane sprawls well. He's pushed Gorden's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Coltrane lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Gorden throws a body punch but Coltrane moves out of range.
Gorden shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Coltrane defends it nicely.

so Gorden counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Coltrane throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Coltrane seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Gorden is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Coltrane wants to sweep but no luck.
Coltrane has control of Gorden's left arm, preventing Gorden from doing any damage.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Coltrane is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Gorden shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Coltrane but Coltrane pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Coltrane.

Gorden has a takedown stuffed.

and Coltrane counters by clinching up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Coltrane lands a right hand that snaps the head of Gorden backwards.
Gorden tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Coltrane smiles and moves away.
Coltrane throws a nice outside leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Rosco P Coltrane will probably get the nod.
That's time! Coltrane's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

A looping hook to the body misses from Gorden. Coltrane does a little dance to reset his feet.
Coltrane connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Gorden momentarily.
Gorden shoots in looking for a takedown but Coltrane manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gorden's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Coltrane keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Gorden connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Coltrane's hands.

Coltrane tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gorden swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Gorden closes the distance and clinches up with Coltrane, looking for a takedown. Gorden pushes Coltrane against the cage but Coltrane circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Coltrane slaps away a takedown attempt from Gorden, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Gorden takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Coltrane moves into range and clinches up with Gorden.
Coltrane is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Coltrane lands an elbow that stopped Gorden in his tracks for a moment.
A nice right hand lands inside from Coltrane.
Gorden is working for takedown but Coltrane is calmly controlling the position for now.
Coltrane is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Gorden is defending well for now.
Coltrane gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Gorden breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gorden looks for a takedown but Coltrane sprawls well.
Coltrane is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Gorden takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Coltrane lands with a nice combination. Gorden backs away looking to recover.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Coltrane bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Gorden's head.

and Coltrane counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Coltrane lands with a shot to the body.
Gorden is still on wobbly legs! Can Coltrane finish him?

and Coltrane counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Coltrane is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Gorden flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Gorden is out cold! Coltrane holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rosco P Coltrane!
Rosco P Coltrane decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
