9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Solofa Fatu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Charlie Clock! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Colin Fray and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fatu swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Fatu misses with a jab, cross combination.
Fatu throws a series of punches but Clock moves out of range. Fatu steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Clock. Clock uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Fatu. Fatu misses with a two punch combination.
Solofa Fatu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fatu looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Fatu throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Clock. Fatu ducks under a wild hook from Clock. Fatu moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like Charlie Clock has been cut. Fatu throws a hook but Clock avoids it easily. A combination from Fatu does no damage. Clock showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Fatu.

That's one minute gone in the round. No joy there for Fatu, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Clock dives in and scores a takedown into Fatu's guard. Clock forces his way into half guard. Clock seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Fatu does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Clock is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Clock is looking to pass Fatu's guard but actually Fatu recovers to full guard. Clock wants to control from the top but Fatu keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Clock works a leg free and moves into half guard. Clock moves into full mount! Fatu won't be happy about that! The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fatu is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Clock can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Fatu is looking to escape. Fatu has given up his back here. Will Clock look for the submission or keep pounding away?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Clock working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Fatu defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Clock's arms. Fatu is keeping busy.
This has been an exciting period of action! Clock has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Fatu is in real trouble here. Clock gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Fatu is tapping out! Clock wins by rear naked choke!
