Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Clarck Murrie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocco Sifreddi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Sifreddi's choice of entrance music: I'm too sexy. Rocco Sifreddi will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Clarck Murrie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rocco Sifreddi! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Russell Pearce and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Sifreddi. Murrie tries to strike from the bottom but misses. Murrie wants to control but Sifreddi postures up. Murrie is looking to reverse the position. Sifreddi throwing strikes but Murrie manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Sifreddi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Murrie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Sifreddi tries to buck Murrie off but Murrie is having none of it. Murrie trying to control the position but Sifreddi is working away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sifreddi has one of Murrie's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage. Sifreddi gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Sifreddi wants to control but Murrie is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sifreddi is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Sifreddi wants to control but Murrie is keeping busy and won't allow it. Sifreddi wants to improve his position but Murrie is controlling well.
Murrie is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Sifreddi sees it coming and defends easily. Sifreddi keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Sifreddi is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Sifreddi is not content to let Murrie control the position. Sifreddi trying to control but Murrie postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Murrie throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Sifreddi trying to hold on to Murrie's head to control him but Murrie postures up.
Murrie is trying to work for a kimura but Sifreddi is defending well.
Sifreddi pushes Murrie off looking to stand but Murrie dives back in and keeps control.
Murrie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sifreddi keeps working. Sifreddi is doing well to control the position and prevent Murrie from advancing to side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sifreddi is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Rocco Sifreddi. Murrie throws a push kick but Sifreddi slaps the foot to one side.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Murrie has Sifreddi up against the cage in a clinch.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Sifreddi pushes Murrie up against the cage in a clinch. Murrie wants to take the fight to the mat but Sifreddi manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Sifreddi as Murrie tries to tie him up. Sifreddi is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Murrie is defending well for now. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sifreddi lands a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sifreddi throws a big elbow that misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rocco Sifreddi dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Sifreddi slaps away a takedown attempt from Murrie, before circling back to the center of the mat. Murrie will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Murrie with a lazy takedown attempt and Sifreddi counters into the clinch. Nicely done. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clarck Murrie. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sifreddi throws an elbow that misses.

The crowd are getting on Sifreddi's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch. Murrie with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

That's one minute gone in the round. Sifreddi turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Sifreddi looks up at the clock and then as Murrie takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Sifreddi smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Murrie is trying to buck Sifreddi off. Sifreddi tries to move to mount but Murrie blocks the move with his legs. Murrie is looking to regain half guard here but Sifreddi keeps moving and retains side control. Sifreddi landing a few strikes. Sifreddi working the head and body with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sifreddi is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Murrie is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Sifreddi working the body and head with strikes. Sifreddi lands some shots froms side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Murrie wants to get back to his feet but Sifreddi drags him back down. Murrie is not content to let Sifreddi control the position. Sifreddi landing a few strikes. Murrie sneaks back into half guard. Murrie actively working from the bottom here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sifreddi drops an elbow to the side of Murrie's head. Murrie on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Sifreddi slips a nice elbow through Murrie's hands, connecting with Murrie's forehead. Murrie is not content to let Sifreddi control the position. Sifreddi is thwarting Murrie's attempts to control the position. Sifreddi tries to pass the half guard into mount. Murrie knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Sifreddi lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sifreddi looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Sifreddi thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Murrie avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Sifreddi. Murrie is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Sifreddi is pressing down on Murrie's thigh, looking to free his foot. Murrie is holding on for now. Murrie might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Sifreddi missing with the ground and pound from half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Murrie is not content to let Sifreddi control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rocco Sifreddi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

The ref stands the fighters back up. Clarck Murrie wasn't doing enough on the ground. Sifreddi lands a really nice looking cross but Murrie seems unphased.
Murrie shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Sifreddi moves into the clinch. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Murrie wants to break the clinch but can't.
Sifreddi jumps guard and drags Murrie to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Sifreddi is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Murrie drops back looking for a leg! Sifreddi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sifreddi manages to kick Murrie off! Murrie jumps back into Sifreddi's guard. Murrie stopping the sweep attempt from Sifreddi. Sifreddi seems keen to control Murrie's posture.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Rocco Sifreddi. Murrie closes the distance and pushes Sifreddi back into the cage. Sifreddi stops a takedown attempt from Murrie.

And that's the end of the fight! Rocco Sifreddi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Sifreddi winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
