Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dean Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sasa Sladkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sasa Sladkov will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dean Anderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sasa Sladkov! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Russell Pearce and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson shoots for a double leg takedown but Sladkov sprawls well. He's pushed Anderson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Sladkov jabbing away but nothing is landing. Sladkov looks to land a left hand but Anderson moved out of range nicely. Anderson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sladkov sees it coming and avoids it easily. Anderson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Sladkov on the side of the head. Nice uppercut there from Sladkov.
It looks like Dean Anderson has been cut. Anderson scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Sladkov trying to control here.
Anderson missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Anderson tries to pass to full mount but Sladkov defends it. Anderson thows a huge punch but Sladkov dodges it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anderson is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Sladkov is trying to get back to full guard. Anderson not doing much here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Anderson passes to side control. Sloppy strikes there by Anderson. Anderson throwing strikes but Sladkov manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sladkov controls the position. Anderson tries to bench press Sladkov off him but Sladkov keeps the position. Anderson is trying to control Sladkov's posture but Sladkov avoids it. Anderson is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Sladkov off and has taken his back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anderson missing with strikes from the back. Anderson lands strikes to the head. Sladkov defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Anderson's arms. Anderson misses with punches from the back. Anderson misses with a punch to the head. Anderson is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Sladkov defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Anderson throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage. Anderson throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. Sladkov covering up well under a barage of strikes. Anderson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Anderson missing with strikes from the back. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Anderson is striking well from the back but Sladkov escapes and manages to control the positon and works his way to half guard. A much better position - the crisis is over for the time being. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Anderson trying to pass the guard but Sladkov defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dean Anderson dominated that round. The cut man is working on Dean Anderson's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Anderson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Anderson throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Anderson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Anderson is defended easily by Sladkov. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dean Anderson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Anderson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Sladkov.

Anderson looks to land a body kick but Sladkov moved away. Anderson misses with a wild body shot. Anderson tries for a takedown but Sladkov sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Anderson closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Sladkov's guard. Anderson trying to control but Sladkov is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sladkov utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Sladkov is pulling down on Anderson's head. It's preventing any offense from Anderson, at least for the moment.
Dean Anderson has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Sladkov looks to land a left hand but Anderson moved out of range nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anderson throws a body kick that misses. Anderson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sladkov as he avoids it easily. Sladkov throws a looping overhand right but Anderson ducks down to avoid it. Sladkov misses with a low kick. Sladkov shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Anderson eats them both and turns towards Sladkov to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Sladkov works Anderson's body with a nice hook. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Anderson looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Dean Anderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sladkov keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Anderson misses with a body kick. Anderson shoots for a double leg takedown but Sladkov sprawls well. He's pushed Anderson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Sladkov lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Anderson at a distance.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sladkov sends Anderson crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Sladkov is motioning to the referee to let Anderson up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Anderson is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anderson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Sladkov. Anderson swings away with a leg kick that misses. Sladkov lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Sladkov drops Anderson with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Anderson! Sladkov dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
