The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rimorin fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Max avoids it really well and circles away.
Max changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rimorin tries to avoid it but Max manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rimorin to the ground. Rimorin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Rimorin.
Max shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rimorin as he jumps to the side.
Max blocks a head kick by Rimorin.

Rimorin closes the distance and clinches.
Max fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Max Max. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Max escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Rimorin has eaten all the pies!
A solid leg kick lands there for Max.
Rimorin is looking to clinch but Max is avoiding it.
Rimorin wants to clinch up but Max keeps it at a distance.
Max misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Rimorin drives through with a takedown into guard.
Max is trying to control the position but Rimorin postures up.
Rimorin controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
