Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patches Meech (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and AkoSii MangKulot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Meech comes to the cage accompanied by shear it maybe. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Patches Meech! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, AkoSii MangKulot! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circling - Meech throws out the jab but it was never going to land. The fight moves into the clinch position. MangKulot is pushing Meech up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. MangKulot drags the fight down to the ground.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. MangKulot trying to keep a closed guard but Meech is proving a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Meech wanted to stand there but MangKulot had control of the position. Meech preventing the sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. MangKulot is looking to stand up but Meech isn't so interested in that idea. MangKulot throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. MangKulot looking for subs off his back but Meech has passed one foot through into half guard.
MangKulot wants to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. MangKulot trying to control here.
Meech wants to stand up but MangKulot is controlling the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. MangKulot wants to control but Meech is keeping busy.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Patches Meech just wasn't active enough. Meech showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from MangKulot.
Meech misses with a two punch combination.
Meech tries to keep at a distance but MangKulot has taken the fight into the clinch. MangKulot misses with an elbow over the top. MangKulot can't get the takedown.
MangKulot fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. MangKulot is pushing Meech up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. MangKulot tries to score a body lock takedown but Meech shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Patches Meech has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of AkoSii MangKulot. Meech wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Meech is trying to break free. MangKulot fails to pull the fight into his guard.
MangKulot breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Meech throws a nice looking combination but MangKulot bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. MangKulot takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
AkoSii MangKulot dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
MangKulot rushes Meech and presses him up against the cage. Meech is defending well against a takedown attempt. MangKulot drags the fight down to the ground.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if MangKulot can do anything to dispel that myth. MangKulot throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Meech escapes and throws MangKulot's legs to the side, diving into side control! MangKulot holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage. Meech working away. MangKulot is looking for a sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. MangKulot holds on to Meech's head and controls the position momentarily. Meech tries to stand but MangKulot is controlling his head. MangKulot struggling a bit here.
The ref stands the fighters back up. AkoSii MangKulot was stalling too much, according to the referee. Meech scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
That's two minutes gone in the round. MangKulot slips a jab and a cross from Meech.
MangKulot pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Meech throws a right hand that MangKulot ducks under and follows up with a left that MangKulot also avoids with ease. Patches Meech seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. MangKulot pushes Meech up against the cage in a clinch. MangKulot tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Meech just stands there and leans against the cage. MangKulot slows down the pace here.
MangKulot's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. MangKulot looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Meech! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Meech tries to escape but MangKulot is in control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. MangKulot trying to control the position but Meech is working away. MangKulot controlling the position. MangKulot trying to control the action but Meech is working from the bottom. MangKulot landing strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Meech wants to get back to his feet. MangKulot wants to control but Meech is keeping him busy.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. AkoSii MangKulot wasn't active enough on the ground. Meech fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Meech tries to bum rush MangKulot with a series of wild strikes but MangKulot uses good footwork to avoid the assault. MangKulot slips a jab and a cross from Meech.
MangKulot shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Meech as he avoids it easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
AkoSii MangKulot showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Meech scores with a hook to the body. MangKulot takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. MangKulot darts in and clinches Meech up against the cage. Meech being controlled against the cage. MangKulot turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and MangKulot manages to end up in side control. Meech managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by MangKulot.
MangKulot trying to control the position but Meech is working away. MangKulot looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Meech is trying to buck MangKulot off.
That's one minute gone in the round. MangKulot advances to full mount. MangKulot trying to control but he's not successful this time. MangKulot looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Poor strikes thrown by MangKulot there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
MangKulot looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. MangKulot with a couple of short strikes. Meech is squirming around, avoiding MangKulot's attempts to control the action.
That's three minutes gone in the round. MangKulot controlling his opponent. MangKulot working for a submission but Meech is keeping him at bay.
That's four minutes gone in the round. MangKulot won't let Meech get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. MangKulot is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Meech can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

And that's the end of the fight! AkoSii MangKulot comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got MangKulot winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
