Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nai Khanomtom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stevie Tal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nai Khanomtom! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Stevie Tal! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Eliza Hachem and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tal gets tackled into the cage by Khanomtom. Khanomtom maintains the clinch. Tal goes for a takedown attempt but Khanomtom pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Khanomtom tries to close the distance and clinch but Tal swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Khanomtom feints a jab promting Tal to slip. Khanomtom then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Tal slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Khanomtom fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tal, pushing him back against the cage. Khanomtom lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Tal looking for a takedown. Tal tries for a takedown. No joy.
Nai Khanomtom has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stevie Tal. Khanomtom lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Khanomtom lands an elbow inside. Khanomtom comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Tal jumps guard but Khanomtom stands there with Tal around his waist. Tal gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. A knee to the head by Khanomtom.
Khanomtom creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Tal's defenses. Khanomtom decides to pull guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Tal trying to control the position from guard on top but Khanomtom is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tal's corner is telling him to maintain position. Tal looking to pass the guard. Khanomtom wants to stand and escape but Tal is having none of it. Khanomtom controls Tal momentarily but Tal frees himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Nai Khanomtom just wasn't active enough. Khanomtom goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Tal tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Khanomtom swivels and escapes. Khanomtom has closed the distance and engaged Tal in a clinch.
Khanomtom gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Tal is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Khanomtom's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Khanomtom's back! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Khanomtom is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Tal gets his way!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Tal has his arm under Khanomtom's chin here. Game over son! Tal squeezes tightly and Khanomtom is forced to tap out!
