Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Humble rushes Slaughter and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Humble wants to stand but Slaughter is controlling the position.

Humble has his foot on Slaughter's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Slaughter works his way back into a safe position though.

Slaughter is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Humble asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Slaughter is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Humble gets his way!

That was a close round but I would say that Simon Humble will probably get the nod.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Slaughter stalks Humble and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Humble's face. Humble staggers backwards, shaken.

Humble changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Slaughter tries to avoid it but Humble manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Slaughter to the ground. Slaughter escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
