Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mr Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Kwaak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black's entrance music is yes. A fine choice. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Daniel Bishop and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black tries to score with a low kick but Kwaak moves his leg out of the way.
Black throws a shot from downtown. Kwaak moves away and avoids it.
Kwaak misses with a head kick.
Kwaak with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Black to score with a decent uppercut.
Kwaak lands a nice shot to the body.
Black moves out of range as Kwaak strikes.
Black scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Kwaak ducks under a wild hook from Black.
Black throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Sam Kwaak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Black counters with a three punch combo that has Kwaak backing up. Kwaak nods at Black to acknowledge the strikes.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Kwaak bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Black's guard.
Kwaak postures up in Black's guard and throws a big left but Black blocks it.

That was a close round but I would say that Mr Black will probably get the nod.

Kwaak tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Black manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Black avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Kwaak fails with the takedown
and Black counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Kwaak shoots in for a takedown but Black shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kwaak is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Mr Black overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Black, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
