Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andre Van der Laan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sd Plissken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Van der Laan comes to the cage accompanied by Eazy-E ft. Tupac, The Game - How We Do. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
29 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Andre Van der Laan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Sd Plissken! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Colin Fotheringham and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Plissken fails with the takedown. Plissken takes one on the chin but seems OK.
It looks like Sd Plissken has been cut. Plissken shoots in and drives through. Van der Laan sprawls well. Plissken lands with a nice body punch. Van der Laan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Van der Laan feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Plissken's calf. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Van der Laan keeps Plissken at a distance using the push kick. Plissken looks winded! Van der Laan throws a right and a left that both miss. Van der Laan moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. A decent looking body kick lands there for Van der Laan. Van der Laan rushes Plissken and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Van der Laan with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Plissken takes an elbow to the forehead. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. A knee to the head by Van der Laan.
Van der Laan breaks from the clinch.
Van der Laan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Plissken manages to avoid it. Van der Laan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Van der Laan turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Van der Laan lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Van der Laan cracks Plissken with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Van der Laan. A solid leg kick lands there for Van der Laan.
Van der Laan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Van der Laan lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Plissken crumples to the floor! Van der Laan milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Andre Van der Laan! In his post fight interview, Andre Van der Laan started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
