The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis shoots in for a double leg but Wright sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Davis fails to land the takedown.
Davis closes this distance looking for a takedown but Wright circles away.

Wright drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
