Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carl Robertson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Ordenez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robertson comes to the cage accompanied by Fort Minor - Remember The Name. Ricardo Ordenez will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Carl Robertson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ricardo Ordenez! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Felipe Paraventi and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ordenez takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Robertson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Ordenez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Robertson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ordenez but Ordenez pushes him off and we're back to square one. Robertson wants to clinch but Ordenez slips to the side and Ordenez counters with a good, hard body kick but Robertson shrugs it off. Ordenez pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Robertson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Robertson blocks the body kick.
Robertson fails in his attempt to clinch. Ordenez looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Ordenez looks winded! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Robertson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ordenez with a flurry of punches that miss. Robertson trying to strike off his back.
Robertson looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Ordenez passes into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ordenez lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Ordenez stops Robertson from getting back to his feet.
Robertson is looking for a sweep. Ordenez is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Ordenez lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Robertson taking some punishment here, with Ordenez in his half guard. Robertson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ordenez is nestled in close to Robertson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Ordenez working Robertson over with strikes. Ordenez with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Ordenez has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Ordenez is thwarting Robertson's attempts to control the position. Robertson wants to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Robertson has hold of Ordenez's hands but Ordenez slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Robertson flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Ordenez decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Robertson checks a low kick from Ordenez. Robertson shoots in looking for a takedown but Ordenez manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Robertson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Robertson moves out of range of the body kick from Ordenez.

Ricardo Ordenez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ordenez tries to bum rush Robertson with a series of wild strikes but Robertson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Robertson keeps Ordenez at a distance using the push kick. Robertson wants to clinch. Danga de danga de dang - Robertson scores with a four punch combination!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Robertson shoots in but Ordenez avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carl Robertson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ordenez misses with the combination.

It looks like he's just sitting there. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Robertson misses with a takedown attempt - Ordenez sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Ordenez tries to land a leg kick but Robertson saw it coming and moves away.
Ordenez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ordenez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Robertson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Robertson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ordenez sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Robertson fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carl Robertson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ordenez throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Robertson counters with a left and a right that stings Ordenez. Ordenez closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Robertson to the mat! Robertson manages to get full guard. Robertson throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Robertson wants to control but Ordenez passes easily into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ordenez postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Robertson to stand up. Ordenez thows a body kick. Robertson tries to catch it but that hurt him. Robertson gets in close and instigates a clinch. Robertson lands an uppercut. Ordenez with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Robertson tries to break free but Ordenez pushes him back against the cage. Robertson scores with a knee to the head.
Robertson is trying to pull guard but Ordenez has him pressed against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Robertson taking a breather. Robertson lands a good knee to the midsection. Ordenez won't want to take too many of those. Ordenez presses Robertson against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Ordenez gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Robertson is looking to get back to is feet but Ordenez passes into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ordenez tries for a kimura but Robertson is defending well. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Robertson is looking for a sweep.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Robertson is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Ordenez landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Ordenez staying calm.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ordenez decides to stand up, so the ref orders Robertson to his feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ordenez is looking to score with low kicks. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ricardo Ordenez showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. Robertson is trying to stand up. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Ordenez fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Robertson wants to get back to his feet.
Ricardo Ordenez has got the better of the ground game so far. Ordenez lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Ordenez lands with some strikes. Ordenez content just to control the position here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ordenez won't let Robertson get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Ordenez postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Robertson looks a forlorn figure.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Robertson tries to lock up and control but Ordenez gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Robertson is trying to escape the mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ordenez sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Ordenez landing strikes from the mount and Robertson is in trouble! Ordenez with shots to the head and body - Robertson looks very uncomfortable down there. A nice elbow there by Ordenez.
It looks like Carl Robertson has been cut. Ordenez raining down hammerfists from mount. Ordenez has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Robertson tries to hold on but Ordenez postures up. Robertson is wriggling around trying to escape.
