The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Duque drives through and clinches with Andersson against the cage.
Duque can't find room to land a body shot as Andersson controls the action.

Andersson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Andersson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Andersson drops back looking for a leg! Duque is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Duque manages to kick Andersson off! Andersson jumps back into Duque's guard.
Andersson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Duque bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Andersson's guard.

Duque tries to hold on but Andersson pushes him away.

Andersson is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Duque has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Duque!

Duque gets to his feet. Andersson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Duque lands with an uppercut that bounces Andersson off the cage and back into range.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and Andersson counters with a three punch combo that has Duque backing up. Duque nods at Andersson to acknowledge the strikes.
Duque slaps away a takedown attempt from Andersson, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Duque tries to bum rush Andersson with a series of wild strikes but Andersson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Andersson counters with a crisp one two that drops Duque! Andersson thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Duque to his feet! Duque is in big trouble!

Andersson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

That was a close second round but I would say that Eskobar Andersson will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Duque fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Andersson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

and Andersson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Duque moves in looking to clinch but Andersson pushes him off.

and Andersson counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Duque is lucky that one didn't land flush.

and Andersson counters with a monster head kick that knocks Duque out cold! He topples like fallen a tree, crashing to the mat! Timbeeeeeerrr!
