Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dylan Beretta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramus Arthanier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beretta comes to the cage accompanied by Hed Pe Raise Hell. Arthanier has chosen P.O.D. - Boom as his entrance music. Ramus Arthanier has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ramus Arthanier! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Lou da Vinci and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beretta shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Arthanier as he avoids it easily. Beretta fails with a takedown attempt. Beretta closes the distance and clinches up with Arthanier, looking for a takedown. Beretta pushes Arthanier against the cage but Arthanier circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dylan Beretta. That's going to take a lot out of him. Beretta closes this distance looking for a takedown but Arthanier circles away. Beretta feints and as Arthanier raises his hands in defense, Beretta changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Arthanier wants to stand up but Beretta is controlling him. Beretta throws a big elbow that misses. Arthanier not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Beretta actively working from the bottom here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Arthanier is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Arthanier controlling the pace. Arthanier wants to lay and pray for a moment but Beretta keeps working.

Arthanier advances position into side control! Arthanier has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. A nice inside leg kick there by Arthanier. That's going to slow Beretta down. Arthanier displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Beretta. Arthanier lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Beretta closes the distance and clinches up with Arthanier, looking for a takedown. Beretta pushes Arthanier against the cage but Arthanier circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Beretta looks for a takedown but Arthanier sprawls well. Beretta shoots in looking for a takedown but Arthanier manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Beretta's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Beretta is breathing heavily. Arthanier lands a nice leg kick that just misses Beretta's sensitive parts. A lazy left from Arthanier finds it's target. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Arthanier explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Arthanier moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Arthanier bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Beretta bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Arthanier sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Arthanier gets back to full guard.
Beretta working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Beretta preventing the sweep. Arthanier controls Beretta momentarily but Beretta frees himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ramus Arthanier dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
A cross from Arthanier lands. Beretta shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Beretta wants to control from the top but Arthanier keeps moving. Beretta is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Arthanier looking for a sweep. Not yet Arthanier, not yet. Arthanier is controlling Beretta's posture.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Arthanier bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Beretta's head backwards. This has been an exciting period of action! No luck with that takedown attempt from Beretta. Arthanier scores with a leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beretta takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Beretta fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Arthanier avoids it really well and circles away. Beretta chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Arthanier can pounce on him.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Beretta throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Arthanier tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Beretta is in Arthanier's guard. Arthanier manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Beretta is controlling an arm, preventing Arthanier from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Beretta wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Arthanier has the hooks in. Beretta is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Let's hope that Arthanier has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Arthanier is looking to control Beretta but Beretta is wriggling around and keeping busy. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Arthanier has the hooks in. Beretta is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Ramus Arthanier wasn't active enough on the ground. Beretta misses with a takedown and Beretta takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dylan Beretta. That's going to take a lot out of him. Beretta takes one on the button. Beretta shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Arthanier defends it nicely. Beretta shoots in and drives through. That's four minutes gone in the round. Arthanier lands a big head kick that sends Beretta tumbling to the mat! Arthanier takes a step backwards and waves Beretta back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Beretta is rocked!
It looks like Dylan Beretta has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Arthanier weaves into range and cracks Beretta right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Beretta goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Arthanier is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:11 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ramus Arthanier! After the fight, Ramus Arthanier was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
