Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between willem wassie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luis Bautista (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, willem wassie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Luis Bautista! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! wassie throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Bautista avoids the head kick by wassie.
Bautista forces wassie back against the cage and clinches. wassie can't break the clinch.
Bautista breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. wassie really is a fat lump. wassie misses with a body kick. wassie misses with a double jab.
wassie throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Bautista avoids the head kick by wassie.
wassie tries a head kick but it misses.
Nice sprawl there from wassie as Bautista shoots in. Bautista closes the distance and clinches up with wassie, looking for a takedown. Bautista pushes wassie against the cage but wassie circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Bautista avoids a punch combination nicely.
Bautista throws a lazy head kick and wassie counters with a series of strikes. Bautista will be more careful next time no doubt. Bautista throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
A combination from wassie does no damage. wassie rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bautista moves out of range and avoids them all easily. wassie is rocked! Bautista tries for a takedown but wassie sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Oh wassie is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! willem wassie is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. wassie throws a right and a left that Bautista avoids nicely. wassie seems to have got his legs back now. wassie throws a lazy head kick and Bautista counters by moving into the clinch. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bautista can do anything to dispel that myth. wassie preventing the sweep. wassie stands and steps away. Bautista gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! wassie tries a head kick but it misses.
A head kick by wassie misses and wassie takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Bautista wants to clinch up but wassie keeps it at a distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. wassie throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Bautista counters by moving into the clinch. Bautista lands a left hand.

Bautista lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt wassie or not. Bautista wants a takedown.

wassie throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Bautista is looking to slow wassie down with leg kicks. Bautista rushes wassie and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. wassie is looking to break free of the clinch but Bautista has double underhooks. wassie goes for a takedown attempt but Bautista pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Bautista sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks wassie to the ground! Bautista dives into full mount looking to finish!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bautista controlling his opponent. Bautista punching from mount but wassie doing a good job of avoiding damage. Bautista goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now wassie is on top in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bautista looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Luis Bautista dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
wassie is looking to slow Bautista down with leg kicks. Bautista shoots and misses and wassie counters with a two punch combo. Bautista misses with a takedown attempt and wassie counters with an inside leg kick. wassie scores with a head kick.
wassie throws a sloppy head kick and Bautista counters with a nice uppercut. Bautista avoids a punch combination nicely.

Bautista stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. wassie swivels though and keeps the full guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. wassie is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Bautista is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bautista seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. wassie is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bautista is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bautista accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. wassie might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. wassie throws a lazy head kick and Bautista counters by clinching up. The referee calls for Bautista to work.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. Bautista escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Horrible takedown by Bautista or perhaps it was just good defense by wassie which made him look bad. willem wassie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luis Bautista.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. wassie works over Bautista's head and body with a nice combination. wassie throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Bautista. willem wassie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. wassie feints and then cracks Bautista's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bautista down. wassie throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Bautista counters with a takedown into side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. wassie is trying to buck Bautista off. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Luis Bautista showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Bautista moves in looking to clinch but wassie pushes him off. Bautista lands a head kick. wassie smiles back at him and beckons him forward. wassie swats away the attempt to clinch by Bautista. wassie throws a sloppy head kick and Bautista counters with a stiff right hand. wassie throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Bautista counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Bautista wants to stand but wassie has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bautista prevents wassie from standing back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bautista slips a nice elbow through wassie's hands, connecting with wassie's forehead. Bautista gets to his feet - back to striking we go! wassie tries to keep at a distance but Bautista has taken the fight into the clinch. Bautista unloads a knee to the mid-section. wassie lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Bautista turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Bautista manages to end up in side control. Bautista controlling the position. Bautista tries for a kimura but wassie is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bautista wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by wassie, who protects the arm well. Bautista postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Bautista decides to stand up, so the ref orders wassie to his feet.

And that's the end of the fight! Luis Bautista comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Bautista has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
