The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kenowa tries to score a power double leg takedown but So sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kenowa somewhat.
So throws a shot to the body.
Kenowa tries to clinch but So is having none of it.
So wants to clinch
and Kenowa counters with a takedown into side control.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Kenowa stands up.
So shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kenowa defends it nicely.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kenowa looking to score a takedown here. So is defending well but Kenowa drives through and ends up in So's guard.
So wants to control but Kenowa passes easily into half guard.
So flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

So is looking for a sweep. Kenowa is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
