Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lester Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dion Watts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Watts has chosen Egde-On this as his entrance music. Dion Watts is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lester Hall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dion Watts! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Watts uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hall. A jab from Watts misses. Watts looks to land a body kick but Hall moved away. Watts shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hall pinned against the cage. Hall gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Dion Watts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A slow jab from Watts misses its intended target. Watts has taken the fight to the clinch.
Hall tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Hall trying to control the position but instead, Watts has worked for underhooks and has pushed Hall into the cage. Watts leaning his opponent against the cage. Watts is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Watts has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hall is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Watts pulls guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hall engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hall's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Lester Hall just wasn't active enough. Hall closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Hall looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Hall prevents Watts from improving his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hall content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Watts moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Watts striking off his back but it's not causing Hall any problems. Hall might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Hall is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Watts trying to keep a closed guard but Hall is proving a slippery customer.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Hall is working Watts over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Hall prevents Watts from getting back to his feet. Watts is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Hall is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hall in particular looking to stall. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. And that's the end of the fight! Lester Hall showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hall, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
